Mid-Week

Each week various Bible study groups meet at different locations around Alwoodley. There is a Tuesday morning home group that meets at 10am in the church centre. There is also a Tuesday evening group and a Wednesday evening group that meet in people’s homes. If you want to join any of these groups then please get in touch.

Tuesday Evening House Group

Meets most weeks from 7.45pm to 9.15pm.
They start with coffee and chat, sometimes a song or two.
A bible passage is read and discussed.
The eveing finishes with prayers, often in response to what has been read, and to support one another.
Though exploring the bible together is the main focus, great fellowship developes over time and two socials are held each year.
They would love to welcome newcomers.

Wednesday Evening House Group

Meets every week aiming to arrive at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.
As a housegroup they usually follow a bible study together. This takes the format of an introduction, a bible reading followed by questions and discussion.
The eveing finishes with a share and prayer time.
A quiz/social evening is held at the end of each term.
Everyone is welcome to join them.
